The BERLIN SCHOOL OF ENGLISH is a specialised English language school with 30 years experience that offers tailor-made courses and seminars in business English, general English, German for executives and exam preparation. We also offer intensive courses through the Job Agency, as well as the CELTA teacher training course. All of our courses are designed to meet each individual’s needs. Our trainers are highly qualified and experienced native English speakers who are certified in English language teaching.
In order to provide you with the most appropriate course for your needs, we first undertake a needs analysis and placement test with you here at the school. This is free of charge and non-binding, and helps us to determine which level and course is right for you, as well as answer any questions you may have regarding your learning requirements.
Preparation for an internationally recognised exam
As Business English specialists, the BERLIN SCHOOL OF ENGLISH knows that the world is becoming more connected and that for many, studying or working overseas has become part of life. This often means acquiring an internationally recognised English certificate to prove your level of English.
We offer exam preparation courses for Cambridge certificates in general English (FCE, CAE und CPE), in business English (BEC Preliminary, BEC Vantage and BEC Higher), in academic English (IELTS), as well as TOEFL and the LCCI – London Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Highly qualified and experienced trainers
Our most important members of staff are our native speaking English teachers, all of whom have a qualification in teaching English as a foreign language. Along with the HAMBURG SCHOOL OF ENGLISH we are the only private language school in Germany since 2003 to offer the CELTA – Certificate in English Teaching to Adults. In this way we ensure the highest quality of our teaching staff. In addition to this, the majority of our trainers hold a degree in a secondary discipline and have spent time working in various other fields of business.
